Sheringham is also the start of the Poppy line- the steam railway which runs through Weybourne and Inland to Holt- a journey of 5 miles. Holt is an attractive Georgian town full of tea rooms, antique shops and boutiques.

The area lends itself to endless choices for the walker. Eastwards leads you over the cliff tops towards Cromer or the westward direction will take you up and over the golf course towards Weybourne and onwards to the salt marshes and bird watching territory. 

By car or coast hopper bus service the scenic coastal road passes through quaint, peaceful seaside villages. Follow the road to Cley with its windmill and then onto Morston with its Michelin star restaurant at Morston Hall or further to Blakeney where boats leave regularly to visit the seal colony.
